The Rainmaker is just one of many great speakers from Totem. So if you have a smaller room and can only accommodate monitor speakers, the Rainmaker is a top choice. It has all the sonic similarities of the floorstanding Forest speakers we have for sale in another listing but repackaged in a small scale. Mount them on sturdy heavy stands and the Rainmaker can certainly belch out an impressive number. Imaging and scale was impressive and if you don’t have that much clutter or furniture in your room, you will be nicely treated to a pair of very musical speakers. Tweeter is the same 1″ aluminum dome unit found on the Forest and the mid-woofer is slightly smaller at 5.5″ but speaker will still handle any signal from 42 Hz to 20 kHz. Nominal impedance is 4 ohm and sensitivity is 86.5 dB. Although dimensions of the speakers are relatively small – 14″ tall, 7″ wide and 9″ deep, don’t be afraid to feed this “little” thing good doses of high quality wattage.
Speakers look really nice with a few very light scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Speakers will be securely pack for safe shipping.
