What’s there not to love with these speakers? They are beautifully made (as expected from Sonus Faber) in gloss black finish and leather cladding and within limits, sounded truly great for a $1,500 monitor speakers. They are not going project a huge soundstage and sound presence like you would get with a floorstanding speakers but in the right size room, quality components and on the right stands, the Concertino Domus can make your listening session a very intimate affair. For its size (7″ wide, 12″ tall and 11″ deep) and using proprietary 19mm tweeter and 6″ woofer, it offered a very respectable frequency response of 50Hz to 20 kHz. Bass was not room shaking (for that, you might want to add a sub) but was tight and fast. Music was delivered very cleanly and precise. In the Domus range they were earmarked as surround speakers if used with their floorstanders or monitor speakers, if used on their own, for a cozy small room setup. Nominal impedance is 4 ohm with a sensitivity of 88dB.
Speakers are in very good condition. Some very minor scuff marks/nicks from use but nothing major. They will be securely packed for safe shipping.
