The Center DOMUS is one of the most luxurious center speaker for under $1,500. Clad in leather, this three way, four driver center speaker was part of the DOMUS surround sound system that retails for more than $10,000. Measuring about 25″ wide, 10.25″ deep and 6.5″ tall, it houses one .75″ ring radiator tweeter, one 3.25″ midrange and two 6″ woofers that gave the speaker a frequency range of 40Hz to 20kHz. Impedance is 4 ohm with a sensitivity of 88dB. Speaker was fairly easy to drive and gave an accurate sonic presentation when it comes to vocals and challenging movie soundtracks. Bass was fast and punchy but not thunderous when compared to other center speaker with larger cabinets. But all in all, a delightful center speaker that sounded really good for its modest $1,300 price tag with a premium finish.
Speaker looks really good with minor scuff marks/nicks from use but nothing major. It will be securely packed for safe shipping.
