Overview
One of the key characteristics of an AV pre/processor that we look out for, other than sound quality, is ease of use. And this Rotel is a breeze to use. There is almost nothing to fault on its sound quality. Movie soundtracks was delivered fault free with good scale and clarity. Bass was punchy and deep and adds volume to the overall movie experience. So, for under $300 now, this is a no-brainer AV processor/ preamp that sounds way above its price tag. It actually sounded pretty good as a stereo only preamp too.
We don’t have the original box but will securely pack this for safe shipping. A Rotel remote will be included which only adjusts the volume and turning the unit on and off. Other controls will have to be accessed from the unit itself. Manual is available online. Unit has some light scuff marks/nicks but nothing major.
