Overview
High end Nakamichi decks have been much sought after over the years and the 680ZX is no different. It may not be in the same league as the CR series (in our opinion) but is still an outstanding deck by any measure. This particular deck was recently serviced so it will soldier on for many more years to come. Like the CR series, it has the same “pro” look with lots of buttons, switches and displays. Rack handles gives it an added convenience of slotting this into an AV rack in a studio or in your home rack.
Cosmetically, the unit is in fair shape. Some scuff marks (on the top top) and a few small nicks along the edges but nothing major. We don’t have the original box but will securely pack this for safe shipping. Manual is available online.
