The Bronze 50 is a great example of “great things come in small packages”. At just 6.5″ wide, 11″ tall and deep, this speaker is a compact powerhouse. As the smallest speaker in the range and designed for the smaller audiophile room, the speaker sounds really good with its impressive design specs. Its very similar in size to the legendary Rogers LS3/5a but they could not sound anymore different. The Bronze 50 is more dynamic, more detailed, faster and punchier. It may not have the same “idle” smoothness of the Rogers, but has a more immediate, forward sounding mids. The Bronze 50 has a 5.5″ high velocity C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminum/Magnesium) woofer and their legendary 1″ gold dome C-CAM tweeter. Frequency response is an impressive (for its size) 40 Hz to 30 kHz with a nominal impedance of 8 ohm and a sensitivity of 85 dB.
Cosmetically, the speakers look good. Some scuff marks/nicks here and there, slight peel on the veneer on the bottom side of one speaker and tiny corner dings that are barely noticeable until up close. We don’t have the original box but will securely pack this for safe arrival.
