Overview
The MT2 may be McIntosh’s entry level turntable but it hardy looks like one or even sound like one. At $4,500 MSRP, its pitch at the higher end of the mid-range turntable range where it is one of the better built, better looking turntable. It comes complete ready to take up vinyl duty in your system with a high output (2.5mV) Sumiko Blue Point No.2 MC cartridge and dust cover. Just a quick 15 min setup and you are ready to spin all your precious record. This unit was previously used as a store demo. Hours on the cartridge is about 50-60 hours and will come with a fresh warranty. Green light glow from the turntable is just a sight to behold.
Cosmetically, the unit is in very good shape. Very minor scuff marks here and there from being used as a demo but nothing major. We have the original box and manual for it.
