Overview
Among high end DACs, the Bricasti M21 is a bargain. The music it reproduces will rival some high end DACs that cost twice as much. It has a generous number of digital inputs and with an onboard volume attenuator, can be paired directly to an amp or integrated for simplicity of setup and purity. The specs on this DAC is too many to list it all down here so we encourage you to check them out on Bricasti’s website. Compared to our other high end DAC in our store at the moment, the Berkeley Alpha Reference Series 2 w/MQA, the Bricasti is a bit more detailed but the Berkeley is more organic and smoother. Either one who do very nicely if you want to build a top end digital setup, it all boils down to a matter of taste and preference. This unit is their latest and current offering with the MDx processor (unit was built in October 2022).
Cosmetically, the unit looks great, almost mint. One owner from new with original box, manual and remote. Unit is under one year old.
