This is an earlier gem from Synergistic Research that arguably, set the stage for the big brand that it is now. Cables has great resolution, clarity and detail. The DS in the model name stands for Discrete Shielding which gave the cable a darker background and thus allowing more musical nuances to come forth. The subsequent models have active shielding added on but you would be hard pressed to hear the difference between this passive design and the later active versions. For the budget conscious, this is an excellent buy for $275 now.
Cables has minor scuff marks common with use but nothing major. They will be securely packed for safe shipping.
