As a tube based headphone amp, the WA6 is one of the best you can buy for under $1,000. Especially when you have a pair of high end headphones that could really benefit from a really good headphone amp. The WA6 uses one 5AR4 and two 6DE7 tubes. The 5AR4 tube is synonymous with speed and dynamic response and the 6DE7 are akin to mini double triode tubes. Collectively, they just give the WA6 such musicality that any headphones you pair it with, sound simply wonderful. Toggle switch on the back allows you to select 8-99 ohm impedance or 100-600 ohm. We used our STAX headphone with it and enjoyed it so much we had to pry the headphones off. Unit is proudly Made in the USA! Voltage switch on the back allows for selecting 115V or 230V, so it can be used anywhere in the World!
Cosmetically, the unit looks really good. Minor scuff marks from use but nothing major. Unit has one owner from new and will be securely packed for safe shipping.
