Overview
One thing that is always consistent with Vienna Acoustics is the quality of their speakers. The Maestro center channel speaker is another good example. Well built with quality materials and a sound that belies its conservative price point. Except for some minor scuff marks here and there, looks really good overall. The speaker did a very good job reproducing voices and the tough action sequence in movies. Bass was tight and fast and respectfully deep (38Hz) given its 5.5″ size mid-woofers. It is fairly easy to drive at 6 ohms with a 91 dB sensitivity. Manufacturer recommends a minimum of 30W to drive it. Physically, it is a “mid” size center channel speaker – 23 1/4″ x 6 3/4″ x 11″. We don’t have the original box but will securely pack this for safe shipping.
