Overview
The RC-1590 is a multi-talented stereo preamp that not only sounded really good in a dedicated two channel setting but also an impressive DAC with AKM premium 32-bit/768kHz chip on board. It is Bluetooth and USB capable too. The preamp is not going to break new heights but for $2,o00 (a bargain price point in our opinion and a steal now at under $1,300!) and a crowded mid-range category, it has a lot going for it. Great sound, loads of features and connectivity, the RC-1590 will do very nicely in a mid-range system that impress any audiophile. Preamp is good for 4 line inputs (including a phono stage) and 6 digital inputs.
Cosmetically, the unit is in pretty good shape. Minor scuff marks from use but nothing major. A Rotel remote is included that will work input selection and volume control. Manual is available online. Unit will be securely packed for safe shipping.
