The C12 is an impressive sounding center channel speaker for the small and medium size home theater setup. Its like the budget alternative to the larger and more expensive C52 center channel speaker. Its also a 3-way design with two 6.5″ woofers, one 4″ mid-range and a 1″ dome tweeter. To say this is not a dynamic center channel speaker will be quite an understatement. Frequency response is 60 Hz to 45 kHz with a nominal impedance of 6 ohm and a sensitivity of 90 dB. It loves power and once it has that, it will add the punch and speed that is so crucial to a center channel speaker. Dialog was crisp and clear and bass was impactful. If you are looking to add some spice to your current home theater setup and don’t want to spend more than $250, this might just be the ticket for you. Tilt foot on the rear allows you to adjust the tilt angle of the speaker facing towards you. Speaker is about 9″ tall, 21″ wide and 10″ deep.
Cosmetically, the speaker is in good shape. Minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Front is nice and clean and so is the grille cover. We don’t have the original box but will securely pack this for safe shipping.
