Overview
The Elite preamp has come a long way from the days of the 34 and 44 preamp. It is now a slimmer design with just seven buttons on the front to control the main functions of the preamp. To access the tone controls and load adjustments for the preamp, you would need to order a remote from Quad’s US distributor (cost $60 when we last checked) – MoFi Distribution. Otherwise, preamp sounds great for the price. Typical Quad iron clad built quality and silky smooth sound.
