Before Pass Lab’s current XP series of preamps, there was the X series. And what a wonderful series of preamp that was. The X-1 is a two chassis preamp with a separate power supply and is the “entry model” to their more premium three chassis lineup which includes the X-0 and X-0.2. It has a very transparent, neutral, detailed and clean sound. Paired with top notch ancillaries (like the X350.5 amp we have for sale in another listing) and you get a top notch sound. Pair it with so-so components and you get a so-so sound. So if you want your music as honest as possible and have top notch components to fully utilize its strengths, you will not be disappointed. Preamp was previously refurbished by Pass Labs so it is good to go for many more years to come!
Condition of the preamp is very good. Just light signs of use and the occasional scuff marks typical from use. Units will be securely packed for safe shipping.
