Overview
The 2250 v.2 is an affordable alternative to their more expensive Halo series of amps. It is nicely constructed and obviously for its “lower” MSRP, its not in the same league as the Halo amps in terms of finish and materials but soundwise and power delivery, it is just as impressive. In 8 ohms, this amp will whip out 275W and 400W in 4 ohm. And if you find another one and run them as monoblocks, they will jump to an amazing 750W per channel. Being that it is THX certified, the amp has met one of the most stringent standards in the industry for audio quality. This is the v.2 version which is a bit more “juiced” up with 25W more in 8 ohm and 50W more in mono setup. Selector switch on the back allows for 115V or 230V operation so it can be used anywhere in the World.
Cosmetically, the amp is in nice shape with minor scuff marks common with use. Amp will be securely packed for safe shipping.
