At the mid-fi level, this has to be one of the best cables out there. The original first version of the Heimdall was a best seller and now in its second iteration, the Heimdall 2 continues on the strength of the first Heimdall with its incredible resolution, detail, transparency and now with improved refinement. This is a “mid-price” priced cable without the “mid-range” sound quality. To go even better than the Heimdall, you would need to go much higher up the Nordost cable ranks and pay a lot more.
