At the mid-fi level, this has to be one of the best cables out there. The original first version of the Heimdall was a best seller and now in its second iteration, the Heimdall 2 continues on the strength of the first Heimdall with its incredible resolution, detail, transparency and now with improved refinement. This is a “budget” priced cable without the “budget” sound quality. To go even better than the Heimdall 2, you would need to go much higher up the Nordost cable ranks and pay a lot more. So this is an easy best buy now for under $700 now. Power cord looks good with minor scuff marks common with use and some wear on the labels. Previous owner used the cable on his SACD player (sticker label still on the cable) which we also recommend to be paired with (digital source that is) or a preamp.
