The NHT Evolution L5S speakers are one of the best bang for the buck speakers for the budget/mid-priced HT system. For $250 now, you get a pair of three way speakers that spots two 5.25″ woofers, one 3″ mid-range and one 1″ aluminum dome tweeter. The mounting bracket on each speaker will allow the speakers to be mounted horizontally or vertically and can be used as the front L and R speakers or surround speakers. They can also be used as a center channel speaker. Frequency response is 65 – 30 kHz with a nominal impedance of 6 ohm and a sensitivity of 86 dB. Although designed to be used with a subwoofer (which is what is required in a proper HT system), they can also be used as a pair of stereo monitor speakers.
Cosmetically, the speakers look fair. Some minor scuff marks/nicks here and there which you beautify again with a new coat of spray paint. We don’t have the original box but will securely pack them for safe arrival.
