The Professional III series of cables are the next best thing before the Statement series. The pair you see here was a custom ordered paired that the previous owner specially ordered for driving two pair of monoblock amps. Because his preamp only has one pair of XLR out, he had NBS specially made this pair of cables where the ends that go into the preamp are two female plugs and the ends that go into the four monoblocks are male (four) XLR plugs. If you plan to build a similar setup like his, the NBS cables are an excellent solution to connecting four monoblock amps to a single pair of preouts.
