The LS100 is a hot favorite among discerning audiophiles for its clean, liquid smooth, fully detailed sound where its single-ended design employs two 6SN7 drivers tubes and one 5AR4 rectifier tube in its circuitry. This particular unit is even more desirable because the previous owner loaded it with the optional tube based phono stage where one 12AU7 and one 12AX7 tubes helps add some magic to vinyl. There are five line inputs, one tape and one HT bypass and three pairs of preouts, a very generous amount of flexibility. Built and finish like all Modwright gears are precision finish with solid materials used. This was previously paired with the KWA100SE stereo amp (also for sale in another listing), which together has garnered many positive reviews as a symbiotic pairing.
Cosmetically, the preamp looks really good. Minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Remote is included and unit will be securely packed for safe shipping.
