Overview
The 500 Series from Meridian was one their most accomplish range. The 561 AV pre was one of their exemplary piece that offered stellar performance in stereo or multi-channel mode. It could be used with their DSP speakers or directly to power amps with non-active speakers. It may not have HDMI inputs and outputs but with 5.1 channel out (RCA), you can easily replicate a top notch home theater sound in your room. Even as a stereo preamp, it would easily thrash any sub $500 two channel only preamp out there.
Cosmetically, the unit looks good. Some minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Unit comes with the full system MSR+ remote and both units will be securely packed for safe shipping.
