This SACD player would give Marant’s own SA-KI SACD player a run for its money. Priced at almost a quarter of SA-KI’s MSRP, it may not have “luxury bits” like copper plating etc but sonically, it is almost just as good (in our opinion). Built and finish is top class with a nice weighty feel to it but its when you listen to it, you would then appreciate the many hundreds of positive reviews it has earned. Details and resolution were really good for a player priced at just above a $1,000. The DAC section is also a stellar performer. You can run coaxial, toslink and USB through its 24 bit/192 kHz DAC if you want them to exploit the DAC section of the Marantz unit.
Cosmetically, the unit is in great shape. Minor scuff marks from use but nothing major. One owner from NEW. We don’t have the original box but will securely pack it for safe shipping.
