Overview
No sales talk needed here with this preamp. It was one of the best offering from Krell back in the day and is still one heck of a preamp today, albeit no remote control feature. The dynamic sound it produces, the clarity and transparency would rival any of the new offerings currently out there. It loves to be paired with a Krell amp but you could also experiment with other brand offerings (try the shoe before it fits!). This KBL was previously serviced and recapped (in 2019 so it will be good to go for many more years to come) and looks absolutely great (for its vintage) with the usual minor scuff marks that are common with use.
