Overview
Back in the 80s and 90s, JVC was somewhat a force to reckon with when it comes to home audio. The CD player you see here was probably their most celebrated model in their CD category. At $800 then (about $1,700 in today’s money), it was their most expensive single disc CD player. It is very built with quality parts and components used generously throughout the unit. More importantly, it is a very musical sounding CD player. The Bitstream DAC gave a very smooth, clean musical presentation. For under $300 now, this is a performance that is hard to beat.
Cosmetically, the unit looks great. Minor scuff marks common with use but nothing major. We have the original remote and box. It will be securely packed for safe shipping.
