Overview
This is a DAC jam packed with loads of features. As the Kitsune Tuned Edition, it has the silver transformer upgrade, premium Mundorf caps used inside, new and improved power circuitry and an aluminum remote (not offered with the original Spring 1 DAC) among many other upgrades (read more about it on their website). Soundwise, this is one of the best sounding DACs for under $3,000. Lots of details, clarity and precision. Music was reproduced with impressive accuracy from their patented R2R technology which also boasts being the lowest distortion R2R DAC. So to really get out the best of this DAC, a World Class CD transport is mandatory.
Cosmetically, it is in very nice shape. Minor scuff marks but nothing major. Unit will be securely packed for safe shipping.
