Its amazing the original Reference AC cord from ESP (Essential Sound Products) came out way back in 1995! Now, 26 years later, we have the much improved MK.II version of the original legend. This latest version now have purer copper conductors, was cryogenically treated (at -300F) and uses top class Furutech plugs with proprietary termination to ensure end to end signal purity. We had one traded in earlier and we were blown away by its level of purity and openness it brought to our Ensemble Massimo Fuoco integrated amp. Cable is very flexible and could be used on a front end component or a preamp or amp. In our trial, we like its impact on amps and preamps followed by a digital front end, like a CD player.
The cable you see here is BRAND NEW. The customer originally bought two to pair with a pair of McIntosh monoblock amps that he had ordered but the order got delayed by several months and he eventually settle for a stereo amp so this cable became unused. Cable will need to be burnt in so pls factor that when you buy it and fit it into your system. You would probably need about 50-80 hours before the cable settles down.
