There are probably hundreds of vintage turntables out there and many of them have become classics in their own rights. The Dual CS5000 may not be a Linn LP12 rival, but it is very well engineered and for this unit, looks really good for its age. The turntable will spin 33, 45 and 78 rpm records. Current cartridge on it is an Audio Technica MM cartridge which is a very affordable cartridge for the casual LP user. But if you want to exploit the “goodness” of this turntable, definitely try some “higher end” cartridges.
Cosmetically, the turntable looks good for its age. Some scuff marks/scratches here and there but nothing major. Local pickup from our store is welcomed.
