Overview
The Puccini combo you see here is dCS’s most affordable reference model (on its own, the Puccini player is $20,000). If you go up the ladder to the Paganini and the range topping Scarlatti, you would be looking to spend a whole lot more. But if you want a slice of these two range topping models and only have a mid-tier system budget, the Puccini is the best bang for the buck. It may not be in the same league as the Scarlatti but is a very close sibling to the Paganini. Previous owner of this combo ordered it with the U-Clock for greater digital precision and control with the outboard clock. The level of clarity and imaging is simply spectacular and with its ironclad built quality, this dCS is for the ages. For the price of a single chassis reference CD player, the Puccini is a steal now at under $7,000 with this two chassis setup.
Cosmetically, it looks good with minor scuff marks/nicks here and there but nothing major. Units will be securely packed for safe shipping. Local pickup from our store can be arranged.
