Overview
When similar drivers used in the Ikon and Mentor are placed inside this Motif LCR speaker, nothing but positivity is expected. And the speaker delivers it. The speaker can be used in any configuration/setup. It will be impressive as front stereo speakers, rear surrounds or like in this case, a larger than life sounding center speaker. The speaker has three drivers – one 1″ dome tweeter and two 4.5″ wood fiber woofer. Frequency range is 78 Hz to 25 kHz with a sensitivity of 89dB and a nominal impedance of 6 ohm. The speaker is design such that the speaker wires are not connected directly to the speaker but to the back of the wall bracket (will only accept bare wire) which then “plugs” (patent pending design) into the speaker. Being that this was ordered to be a center channel speaker, the previous owner ordered the matching stands for it which is included in the sale.
Cosmetically, the speaker looks good. Minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Speaker will be securely packed for safe shipping. Speaker cable you see in the pic are included.
