This is a custom made passive subwoofer that uses two DaytonRSS265-HF-4 10″ woofers that are good for 22 Hz to 1 kHz. Baltic birch was used and as you can see from the pics, cabinet walls are a massive 1.5″ thick and the whole subwoofer weighs a massive 100 lbs. There is no crossover inside so this has to be used with an AV receiver that has subwoofer out. If there is a subwoofer speaker out, you can just connect it directly. If it is a subwoofer preout, then you will need to connect the preout to an amp and then drive the sub from the amp. The Dayton drivers alone cost $190 each and the speaker designer makes the cabinet for $600.
Cosmetically, the sub looks good. Some scuff marks/nicks here and there but nothing major. Local pickup from our store preferred.
