Overview
This was an original PH-302 MK.II that its one and only owner loved it so much that he went with the “final” upgrade option that Cary offered a few years back. Which was to add an external power supply, four NOC 6SL7 tubes and revised the PH-302 MK.II turns ratio to 20:1. By removing the transformer from inside the unit and isolating it into its own separate unit, there is now zero electrical interference with its sensitive signal boards. The PH-302 MK.II will accept MM and MC cartridges. You just need to connect the phono cable to its respective RCA inputs on the rear panel and if it is MC, adjust the matching load for it and you are good to go.
Cosmetically, the unit is in pretty good shape. Minor scuff marks from use but nothing major. Unit will be securely packed for safe shipping.
