This was B&W’s first soundbar which has been very well received and is in its 3rd version now. The Panorama is a great solution for the HT user that doesn’t want a clutter of speakers in the front and want something more stylish and yet sonically satisfying. Being only slightly taller than 5″, 7″ deep and 43″ wide, it would slip under a screen or in a shelving unit easily. With 1x 1″ aluminum dome tweeter, 2x 3″  glass fiber mids, 4x 3″ glass fiber surround speakers and 2x 3.5″ woofers, the speaker can throw out a wide field of sound. Not exactly precise surround sound but good enough from a one box solution. The woofers are powered by an onboard 50W amp while the rest of the drivers are driven by 5x 25W. Frequency range is an impressive 36 Hz to 50 kHz. There are five inputs offered in the back – 2x optical, 1x coaxial and 2 prs of RCA inputs. As a one box speaker, its original $2,200 MSRP was on the higher of the spectrum but then you are paying for a premium brand, its top notch build quality and one of the better sounding soundbars.

Cosmetically, the speaker looks good. The glass/titanium case cover has some kind of discoloration (common complaint with this speaker) but is not really visible unless you are right over it. Remote control is included. Local pickup from our store preferred but if shipping is required, it will be securely packed for safe shipping.
