Overview
The Hafler DH-220 is the beefier model over the DH-200 that we had sold earlier. It has twice the amount of power at 200W per channel but has the same rich mid-range and solid bass end. Highs were sweet and nicely rounded at the peak without any strain. For under $200 now, this is easily the benchmark standard for sub- $500 power amps in terms of built and sonic quality. We have heard some modified DH-220 that literally crushes amps costing up to $5,000 but this unit is all original. But as it is now, in our opinion, is good enough and why it is still much sought after.
Cosmetically, the amp looks good. Some scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Unit will be securely packed for safe shipping.
