Overview
Here we have a pair of Krell KMA-200 Class A monoblocks. They were completely serviced in Nov last year where it not only had a complete service done but also upgraded to the Dr. Morbius Edition where it received better (than the factory original) and higher capacity power supply caps. Previous owner paid more than $5,000 for the service and upgrade so these amps will be good for many more years to come. The upgrade gave the amps better and improved bandwidth which totally transformed the “brutish” nature of these Class A amps. Many Apogee owners swear by these amps but they can just about be used with any speakers out there. They push out 200W in 8 ohms and goes up to an incredible 1,600W in 1 ohm. These are Krell classics and are still one of the best amps Krell ever made.
Cosmetically, the amps look good for its vintage. Some scuff marks/nicks here and there but nothing really bad. Due to their size and weight, these amps will have to be shipped strapped on a pallet. Local pickup from our can be arranged.
