Overview

There is simply no end to the gratification with this amp. From the massive aluminum “tomb” that houses the electronics inside to the masculine feel of its might when you run your hands on the amp to the fabulous sound it brings to any music. With 300W on tap, this amp will never run out of steam. Even getting it to hit 80-100W was extremely tough with the amount of power reserve it holds. And that was already at an insane level in our showroom. The current model that just recently replace it boasts 50W more at 350W, spots redesigned heatsinks and had minor changes to the electrical topology inside but costs $5,250 more (the Progression S350 is now $27,250). If you have the extra $5,250, we would say go for it. But if you want to save a big chunk of money for honestly (in our opinion) barely discernible difference between the two models, the Progression Stereo would do very proudly in any high end system. The level of resolution, transparency and detail are the hallmarks of what a high end amplifier should sound. If you don’t have similarly top notch source gear, preamp and speakers, it will expose the shortcoming of your system. So be warned. At its $22,000 MSRP, it is a high end bargain.

Cosmetically, the unit looks really good with very minor signs of use. One owner from new. Due to the size and weight of the amp, it will be shipped strapped to a pallet. We have the original box for it.
