The beauty of this SB-2000 subwoofer is firstly its weight – 35 lbs. For a subwoofer, that is incredibly “light”. But that doesn’t translate into poor sound quality though. In fact, its 12″ high excursion woofer in its roughly 15″ cube cabinet projects out an incredible amount of bass. It will dip down to an amazing 19 Hz and crossover out at 240 Hz. On board amp pumps out 500W with ease and peaks at 1,100W. Plenty of power to give the sub its booming bass. No wonder its one of SVS best selling subwoofers. Metal grille cover is an excellent idea!
Cosmetically, the sub looks good. Minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Sub will be securely packed for safe shipping.
