If the already fantastic Tribe III just doesn’t cut for you and you want something even more dynamic and throws a bigger bass punch, than you need the Tribe V. The Tribe V is Totem’s range topping on-wall speaker. Its a full 12″ longer (48″ in total) than the Tribe III and spots four 5″ woofers instead of two on the Tribe III. Bass extension is a full 10Hz lower at 30Hz on the Tribe V and that is something you can clearly hear when in play. Sensitivity is 89dB with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. Recommended power to drive the speaker is a minimum of 30W and goes up to 200W. Speaker can be biamped or biwired or you can just make a simple jumper if you have a regular set of speaker cables.
This speaker was a previous dealer demo unit in their home theater system. We have already sold their Tribe III left, right and rear surrounds and the Tribe sub and this is the last piece from that setup. Cosmetically, the speaker does have some surface scuff marks and light scratches from when it was mounted on the wall. The left two woofers have slight dimples on their dust cover but that has no impact on the performance of the speaker. We have the original box and will securely pack it further for safe shipping.
