This has to be one of the most beautiful speaker stands on the market. Unlike most speakers stands out there which are either made entirely of metal or wood, the speaker stands you see here uses three different materials in its make up. It has a granite base (14.5″ square), wooden center pillar and a metal top plate (6″ wide and 7″ deep). The wooden pillar is height adjustable with a few simple twists of the locking screws and you can have a stand that can be anywhere between 22″ and 29″ tall (not including the granite base). This is such a clever idea because you don’t need to change speaker stands every time you change your monitor speakers due to its varying sizes and thus its ear height/tweeter level. Although these stands were made for the Sonus Faber Electa Amator speakers, it can be used with any monitor speakers that has a footprint of up to 12″ width and 14″ depth. Use of Blu-Tack would be a great idea to “stick” the speaker to the stands.
Cosmetically, they are in very nice shape. Minor marks/nicks here and there but nothing major. These are pretty hefty stands so local pickup from our store preferred or if shipping is required, we can box them up separately and ship them as two boxes.
