If you just want hours and hours of CD playback music without wanting to get up and change CDs, than the Pioneer PDF-F507 might be a cheap solution to that. It takes in 25 CDs (approx 25 hours of continuous music) and with simple controls and setup, makes this a real breeze to use. Sound quality is not bad and will hold its own to any single disc CD player costing around its MSRP of $235. It even has a Toslink digital output for hookup to an external DAC for better sound if you choose that route. Mechanically, this machine is as simple as can be. Access to the 25 disc tray is done manually. You lift up the front cover, slot in the disc into the designated slots (numbered) and flip the cover shut and you are ready to go. Looks like focus has been on the reading and processing of the CD. Not a bad thing.
Cosmetically, the unit is in very good shape. Minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. We have a Pioneer remote from another CD changer which works with the unit but just the basic functions. No original box but we will securely pack this for safe shipping.
