With a touch from John Curl in its circuitry designed and THX Ultra2 certification from Lucasfilm and priced at $1,600 MSRP, what is there not to like about this amp? In fact, the “slim” designed and budget price tag hides a lion of an amp that is capable of 125W in 8 ohm and 225W in 4 ohm with a peak current of 45 amperes per channel. If you run a of them as monoblocks, you will get 400W in 8 ohms! That is a an outstanding amount of power and its not just any kind of power. Music delivery was tight, sure footed, clean details and just loads of reserve in the background. Together with the P3 preamp that we have for sale in another listing (which they were originally paired together), they formed a mid-price partnership that would embarrass other pre/power combos costing twice or even three times as much. The amp can accept RCA or XLR input and is switchable on the rear panel for 120V or 240V use, which means it can be used anywhere in the World.
Cosmetically, the Parasound is in great shape. Just minor scuff marks here and there, nothing major. Manual can be found online. Unit will be securely packed for safe shipping.
