The Studio series from Monitor Audio were their more premium range of speakers that uses their own proprietary drivers. In the Studio 6, this was their 1″ anodized metal-dome tweeter and 6.5″ anodized aluminum-cone woofer. Frequency response is from 40Hz to 30KHz with a sensitivity of 88.5dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohm. Numbers aside, the Studio 6 is a solid performer when used with solid, well damped speaker stands. When properly positioned, the speakers displayed amazing transparency, rich texture, warm mids and a smooth, slightly mellowed high. If you want a crackling sharp sounding speaker, this is not for you. The Studio 6 is a speaker that focuses on a delicate presentation on music. It was crazy expensive when it was first launched but a real bargain now if you are scouting for one of the best sounding monitor speakers for under $1,000.
Cosmetically, the speakers has some minor scuff marks and nicks along the edges but nothing major. We don’t have the original box but will securely pack them for safe arrival.
