This is a current lineup from Music Hall and is just one step down from their flagship mmf-11.1 turntable that sells for $2,000 more. For $2,400, this is a very well designed and executed turntable. You can tell from the way it is design, a lot of emphasis is placed on isolation. The plinth is essentially three platforms with sorbothane in between each “layer” and the motor is mounted over another isolation base that keeps the motor’s vibration away from the table. The arm is a one piece, full carbon fiber affair which again provides superior sturdiness for the cartridge stylus to glide along the vinyl. These are just some of the many key features on this turntable that cost under $2,400. Add the inclusion of the Goldring Eroica LX MC cartridge, itself a $800 value, and this has to be one of the best bargain out there. Power supply is rated for 100-240V so it can be used anywhere in the World!
The unit you see here was a lightly used DEMO piece. Warranty will accompany the new buyer of this unit. Being that it was a DEMO piece before, there are some light scuff marks on the gloss black finish on the top platform and the acrylic dust cover. They are minor but we want to highlight it anyway. If you want near mint, you would need to buy NEW. But for the buyer who doesn’t mind and still get to enjoy the warranty and more importantly, the wonderful sound of vinyl, this is a serious buy for under $1,800 now!
