There was a time when the DC-1 was the anchor in a reference home theater system. It had the price ($4,500 MSRP) to back it and more importantly, the technology that made it sounded better than anything else in the market with just a few simple buttons. Setup was ridiculously simple because the presets were all ready and all you had to do was plugged it in and choose your settings. It may have been around during the Laser Disc days but it is still pretty much in the play with current systems if you want a simple processor that sounds great. Current software version is 2.01.
Cosmetically, the unit is in pretty good shape. Minor scuff marks from use but nothing major. Original remote included. Display is a bit dark in a bright room but in a dim room, it is good or when viewed at an angle. No original box or manual but we will securely pack this for safe shipping.
