Similar to the fabulous Carver “Cube” amp, the Adcom GFA-1a shares the same “cube” shaped architecture. It packs 200W per channel and has a switchable fan option to cool the amp if you plan to drive it hard and for extended periods of time. For the money now, there is really nothing to be overly critical about. It is still a very good sounding amp and easily thrashes many amps out there that cost the same $250. They are becoming rare now where the GFA-1 series of amps have a cult following and to catch one in this condition is getting tougher and tougher. This is an all American classic and a fine example of America’s ingenuity in making great sounding amps at affordable prices.
Cosmetically, there are some minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. We don’t have the original box but will securely pack this for safe shipping.
