Overview
The PSB Alpha LR1 may be small in statue but in the smaller room or a desktop system, they deliver one of the crispiest sounds from a mini monitor speaker setup. At about 5″ wide, 7″ tall and 6.5″ deep, each speaker packs a 3/4″ aluminum dome tweeter and a 3.5″ metalized polypropylene woofer that delivers a frequency range of 90 Hz to 21 kHz. Bass is not the deepest with the 3.5″ woofer so pairing them with a subwoofer is strongly recommended to get the full range sound. Impedance is 6 ohm with a sensitivity of 87 dB. They can be placed on shelves, stands or mounted on walls. Being that they are small and when you pair them with a subwoofer, you can hear a full orchestra without really noticing the speakers.
The speakers you see here were former DEMOs. Some light scuff marks from being used as such but nothing major. We have the original box and manual for them.
