Overview
The CR-3A was one of Nakamichi’s more affordable offering. Back in the day, this was the “budget” alternative (although $800 was still pricey) to their other more pricey lineups that included the legendary Dragon. Unit recently underwent a full service (cost us $350) where the belts (capstan and drive), sensors and caps were replaced. If you still make a decent number of cassette recordings and want one of the best machine for under $500 now, the CR-3A should be on your short list.
Cosmetically, the unit is in fair shape. Minor scuff marks/scratches here and there from use but nothing major. Unit will be securely packed for safe shipping. Manual is available online.
