Overview
The KAV-250a stereo amp was a winning number in Krell’s attempt to bring their legendary sound and built quality to the masses. In a pair up with the matching KAV-250p preamp, you get a chance to bring that awesome Krell sound home for just above $5,000. The KAV-250a had a more wholesome bass response and more mid-range presence than most of its competitors. Its 250W power output was clean and dynamic and if you can find another unit to run them as monoblocks, that 250W morphs into an astonishing 1,000W per channel in 8 ohms. Thats more than enough power for any speaker.
Cosmetically, the amp looks really good. Minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. See out other listing for the matching KAV-250p preamp. Amp will be securely packed in its original box for safe shipping.
