The JA-30 Class A monoblocks have been an audiophile favorite for years. If you have efficient speakers or speakers that don’t draw a lot of current, the JA-30 monoblock amps are perfect. Each monoblock amp is capable of 30W in Class A and the pair you see here is a later version from the earlier 6550 based JA-30 amps. It also uses the newer blue caps with improved stability, sweeter mid-range and highs and a tighter bass with its KT-88 tubes. Subsequent revisions of the JA-30 will allowed you to experiment with even more types of output tubes like the KT-120 and KT-150 with 50% more power at 45W per channel. These later versions also sell for a bit more so if you are tight on a budget and have easy speakers to drive, the JA-30 should be on your shortlist. Current output tubes on it are Genalex Gold Lion KT-88 tubes.
The amps look great with the usual minor scuff marks common with use. We have the original boxes and packing foam – very important to ensure they are shipped safely but local pickup from our store preferred. If shipping is required, multiply by two for total shipping costs.
