The OCM 500 could have pass off as a Krell amp with its burly rack handle on the front and heatsinks across its two sides. Sonically though, it does sound very much like a Krell amp. Detailed sounding with good control in the bass and smooth mids. The OCM 500 has a good dose of power reserve and never seem to run out of steam with various speakers we had it hooked up with. As a stereo amp, it puts out 200W per channel and if you are lucky to find another one and run them as monoblocks, that power output balloons to 800W! Amp is very well built and a real bargain for under $700 now.
Cosmetically, the amp has some scuff marks here and there but nothing major. A few spots were touched up by a sharpie which you can see from the pictures. There are slots at the back for an additional set of speaker binding posts if you want to run the amp in bi-amp mode. We don’t have the original box or manual but will securely pack this for safe shipping.
